Monday, April 27, WRFG Labor Forum Program, 4-5pm

On Monday, Ap. 27, The Labor Forum on WRFG 89.3 FM, 4-5pm will cover a number of important issues with our guests, Joyce Gilliard, IATSE #798 on Workers Memorial Day, Ap. 28 which recognizes those workers killed and injured on the job and promotes the fight for worker safety; Charlie Fleming, Georgia State AFL-CIO President on the campaign to stop fast-tracking of the TransPacific Partnership trade agreements and Marshall Rancifer whose own experiences with homelessness fuel his work to help others facing the challenges of survival without shelter. A question to him will be what is the connection of the Fight for $15 and a Union and homelessness, particularly among those who have jobs but can’t afford housing.
