WRFG Labor Forum Program on Monday, July 20, 2015

On Monday, July 20, 4-5pm, the Labor Forum speaks with Atlanta “Fight for $15” activists about the importance of the creation of a wage board in New York State to look at raising the minimum wage to $15 for fast food workers. WRFG listeners will also hear of plans for local actions to continue building support for a liveable minimum wage.
In the 4:30-5pm segment, Indiana University professor of Labor Studies,  Dr. M. Thanabantu Iverson will call in to discuss the history of the struggle against racism and the fight for workers’ rights in the context of today’s globalized economy.
