WRFG Labor Forum Program on Monday, July 25 2016


The Labor Forum interviews Actor Equity members, Minka Wilkes and Maiesha McQueen, currently starring in the Horizon Theatre production of ‘Da Kink in My Hair.The play, through dialogue, music and dance, reveals the lives of the women patrons of a West Indian hair salon. We will talk about the relevance of theatre to the movement for social and economic justice as well as the importance of a union to these actresses. This interview will air fro 4:30-5pm.

Earlier in the program at 4:15, listeners will hear a live report about the protests at the Democratic Convention,opening in Philadelphia on Monday.
