The Labor Forum on Monday, Oct. 10 marks Indigenous Peoples Day with special programming on the case of Leonard Peltier,who has been imprisoned for nearly 40 years for his role in the 1975 stand-off at the Pine Ridge Reservation . There is a renewed effort to gain his release by presidential clemency. The 4:30-5pm segment of the program will feature an interview with Chauncey Peltier, Leonard’s son, conducted at the Many Rivers Festival , Oct. 1-2.

From 4:15-4:30, Seyoum Bey will provide information about the upcoming Radical Book Fair being held at the Auburn Library on Sat.,Oct. 15.
