WRFG, in line with its mission as a progressive, community-centered radio station, will air a two hour special program on Monday, Jan 16 from 6-8pm, reflecting on the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr for peace and racial and social justice in light of the stated policies of the incoming Trump administration.
Local and national grassroots activists will discuss the opportunities and challenges of building a national movement of resistance to attacks on a broad spectrum of civil and human rights.
The discussion will be wide-ranging, taking in specific issues impacting workers, immigrants, women, youth,and communities of color while focusing on how to build a united movement.
