Friends and Supporters of Independent, Community Radio,
WRFG 89.3FM, your station for progressive information, began its 2017 Three Week Summer Pledge Drive on July 17.
A hallmark of our station is the committed listeners and supporters who have provided the bulk of the budget
that sustains a non-commercial 100.000 watt, around the clock station, year after year since 1973.
24 hours a day, you can call 404.523.8989 and speak with an airshifter who will gladly take your pledge
Advances in technology now allow you to contribute to the station by going online at http://www.wrfg.org on your
computer or smart phone and donating quickly and securely.
And of course, you are welcome to mail a check or hand deliver your donation at 1083 Austin Ave NE, Atlanta 30307.
Please help us make our goal of $50,000 by Aug. 6. Every dollar is needed to pay our re-occurring bills over the summer months.
WRFG is a 501(c)3 organization and your donations are tax deductible as allowed under IRS rules.
The pledge drive coincides with our 44th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!!!
We invite all listeners and supporters to celebrate the amazing reality of a progressive, community radio station that runs
24 hours a day with all volunteers — and without commercials. There is no other station in Atlanta that offers the diversity of music
and on-air hosts and progressive, community-driven content.
The party is Saturday, July 29 from 7pm-midnight at Stagga Lee’s Goodtime Emporium, 1945 Moreland Ave SE 30316(across from the Starlight Drive-in.
There will be food and beverages, music and dancing. A special attraction is line dancing instructor, Mr. CardioTone who will demonstrate the fun of group dancing.
