Members of the Fruit of Labor Singing Ensemble are calling into The Labor Forum on Monday, Oct. 15 from 4-5pm to help raise funds for WRFG 90.3FM and debut songs from their recent cd release.
All callers who pledge $89.30 or more on a credit card will receive a copy of “State of Emergency,” the latest compilation of original music by the popular musical group of union member and workers rights’advocates who formed to bring resistance culture to community meetings, union conventions and political rallies.
This offer is good for telephone callers between 4-5pm on Oct. 15 at 404.523.8989 and online donations of $89.30 or more at wrfg.org or on the WRFG mobile app until midnight on Monday, Oct. 15.
Be sure to be listening today between 4 and 5pm to hear several of the cuts from the cd as well as the interviews with three of the Fruit of Labor singers.
The WRFG 2018 Fall Pledge Drive lasts three weeks, ending on Nov. 4. For 45 years, WRFG has been a listener supported and sponsored station, commercial free, progressive, independent and community-based.
